MIS is proud to establish an American Islamic school with two separate facilities one for boys and one for girls.
MIS is aiming for higher level of the American education with an Islamic character building.
The girls will be starting their school day with the holy Quran session. The school follows the American curriculum, but also integrates Islamic studies into the curriculum throughout the day through activities (praying on time in the school mosque).
This Islamic program is under the supervision of Ms Dina Sadek - the first to originally establish and teach Islamic studies and Islamic character building using American teaching techniques in English for American schools and creative author of Islamic studies books in the Egyptian American schools.
Faculty members are experienced American teachers and native speakers with learning community experience from CITA power ED staff development and on going training.
The MIS is housed in a wonderful facility which encourages full participation in the program. Each classroom is designed to present a positive learning environment.
The school buildings is fully supported by many amenities to the school, namely football field, basket ball court, volley ball court , in door swimming pool, theatre, Home economics, computer and science labs ( Just to name a few) . Sat courseThe Memphis American Islamic section presents the opportunity for College Board students to take a course in SAT preparation as a part of the high school program (During the school day) through experienced SAT teachers. In school Homework programThis program is available upon parent request to enable the student to do his/her homework in school under the supervision of their teachers after school hours. |
